Astrophotos Taken on the Chile Trip

This section of Starryscapes.com will exhibit images of celestial objects taken during my recent trip to Chile. We set up at an astronomy inn called La Frontera and imaged the night skies for many evenings. I brought along two AP900 GOTO mounts for two simultaneous imaging platforms. A Takahashi FSQ106 was used to achieve a midfield image scale while a Zeiss 300mm and a Canon 135mm lenses were used for wider field objects.

Please check this section periodically as I will continue to process the images taken during the trip. These images are best viewed in 16-bit color or higher. Read more about the site and trip details here.
